Gabe Crenshaw is a lifelong Cuyahoga County resident, education leader, and community advocate running to ensure every family in District 18 has a strong voice.

Born and raised in the Glenville neighborhood, Gabe transferred to Cleveland Heights High School in 10th grade and proudly graduated from Heights High. Cleveland Heights has been home for most of her life.

Gabe brings over 20 years of experience in education, spanning K-12 schools, higher education, and nonprofit educational program management.

Priorities for 18

    • Ensure that the state pays its fair share for the education of students.

    • Reform the unjust educational voucher program.

    • Reduce educational property tax burden on homeowners.

    • Partner with local governments to help obtain state funding dollars.

    • Prioritize bringing businesses and sustainable job opportunities to the district.

    • Develop housing options that are affordable for working families. 

    • Expand senior programs in the district. 

    • Rethink senior housing initiatives and programs in the community. 

    • Property tax relief for seniors.
